Won't let me upload image to profile

Why won't my profile let me finish it? It keeps saying over and over and over again to "# You must choose a valid image." I am trying to upload a square avatar jpg. It's not a large one either. Why is this site so user unfriendly? I AM uploading a valid image. This site is the most user UN Friendly ever!

Hi,

I have just pushed up a potential fix for the image upload problem, it *may* have been down to your image filename not being in lower case (mainly the file extension). Please try again and let me know.

As for the site not being user friendly, you should find the rest of your experience much more user friendly, 99% of users have not had a problem uploading pictures before and this may be in isolated case.

This does not work for me either i keep getting the same thing that says *you must choose a valid image*. I checked my file name was all lower case and it was. Is there any particular format the file needs to be?? the photo that i would like to use is a JPEG but i will choose another one if i need to.

JPEG is support just fine yes, just to be sure make sure the file extension is .jpg and not .jpeg.

If it still doesn't work, when you get chance can you upload the photo to a file sharing site such as sendit.com, i will take a further look to find out why it's failing.

I Have now found a solution to this problem and i will explain it now

Instead of uploading the image during registration go to house mixes home page and refresh and you will see that you registered. Hover your mouse over Your account and the bar at the top (next to Message Inbox), Now go down to your profile photo click on it and upload it that way.

Hope this helps and is a solution to every one

I'm having the same problem uploading my profile pic as UnknownOrigins was having. My album artwork for my mix uploaded just fine but it keeps saying "Invalid Image File" when I try to upload a profile pic. I've troubleshot everything suggested above with still no luck.

lol this is a beta format mate and not actually connected to the main site, so it wont allow certain things like and (in the shorter way) nothing major and should be available once the new site is up and running with no glitches...

Hi, on the main site top of the page on the right you will see a bell an envelope a figure image and a question mark click on the figure and a drop down menu appears about half way down you should see edit profile image click on there and upload a pic...
